And there is nothing really wrong with that.
Maybe Wagner over LVE, but it comes down to where they each fit into long term plans as well.

You know if Wagner signs elsewhere for a huge contract, it will be the same old things from the same old posters (good and bad). Regardless of whatever went on in negotiations we find know nothing about.
Nothing wrong with it, if we were getting to Super Bowls or at least NFCCG’s… but as we haven’t for the best part of 30 years, then the way we do things is clearly not working and things need to change.
Sadly we all know it’s not likely to change and the Cowboys front office will continue to be shown up as being stuck in the past, by more forward thinking and fresher front offices around the league.

And there is nothing wrong with going that direction as well. However, these types of moves must be made at times. As you are not going to get the draft to fall your way to replace a player.
And what LB is out there that will be at least just as good, without costing a lot or to over pay.
