One of the round five Comp picks should go to OG and Willie Lampkin NC fits the bill . Pair him with Bass as depth at the position . The T position has depth and Hoffman doubles nicely as C . The rest of the roster on D & O need the rest of the picks and it would be interesting to see Lampkin paired up with OL Coach Riley to progress . He could be a future starter.

He was very good at UNC and Coastal Carolina but probably doesn’t have the size for NFL.

Lampkin is 5’10 275. You want to make him a fullback like Ricard for the Ravens. Ricard is over 6 feet tall over 300lbs. You better have a plan for Mr. Lampkin.

Lampkin doesn't fit the Violence mantra.

Interesting player, but whether or not we draft him in the 5th is not going to make a shred of difference to this team.

If he can get his arms on the DL first, before the DL can, and he has a strong anchor, maybe he could be on a team, but definitely is at a size disadvantage. Have read the dude is strong/plays like a dog

At 5'10, he actually has an advantage over Walker due to being able to get lower than him

It’s the tackle position that’s troubling and of course the guard physician

That’s what holding him back from being taken higher . With NFL weight training he could go 285-290 LBS . He’s a potential NFL starter .

Got curious. Shaq Mason was probably the shortest recent guard in the NFL that also had a good peak.
He was 6'1, 300lb out of GT. He also got knocked for height/arm length.

I have read Jason Kelce was 280 but was probably lighter during the season. But was 6'3.
