Robert Quinn - 3rd rounder
Randall Cobb - 4th rounder

Byron, Quinn, Cobb signed pretty good sized deals. What should we get in return for their departure, in a vacuum, with nothing else considered. Anyone know?

Two third rounders can come in handy to trade up.

In order to get these comp picks, they'd almost have to sit out free agency in any meaningful way. The only high-priced players they could acquire are from cuts or trades. Personally, I think that's a pretty interesting strategy, but we'll see if the Bubbas actually follow it.

Is the rule in the new CBA that signing a new player offsets the players you lose? I would assume it is and Dallas signs a DT that offsets the pick for Randall Cobb.

Comp picks are great and all...when you have an established winning culture that can afford to lose talent. We don’t have that.

Good. I love draft capital. The only tough to replace will be Byron. If Kinlaw is not there trade down and get a CB late first round. Deep WR class, should have some good ones in middle rounds. Hamler would go well with Cooper and Gallup. Gregory replaces Quinn.

I like it. Go back to smart Cowboys FO from 2011-2016. Draft well and value FAs. Set us up great for McCarthy year two.

9 million apr was easily a 4th round pick last year.
