Not a good year for Comp pick fishing but we might get one for Hitchens.....it would be borderline 3rd at 9m

Mayowa was waived so he doesn't count
AMorris might get an offer
Maybe JCooper, BBell or BButler but not big ones...... i would rather resign Cooper

We could sign waived guys like DJohnson-LB or BCushing-LB or JSitton-OG or trade for someone like EThomas--hope hope...... but it looks like the Draft for us again

Cowboys should resign Ladouceur, Cooper, Keith Smith, and Alfred Morris, IMO. Also, they should retain both Lawrence and Irving.

I wouldn't tender KSmith at 1.9m but I would offer him the vet min
Same with LP and Wilbur for STs

I part ways with AMorris and draft some shifty guys like Penny or Michel

Just say no to Cooper unless it's for backup money. no one is going to give that guy starters money

how's it going, army? good list. morris is the only one easily replaced. the rest are important to the cause.

I don't think Morris will get many offers, and I think he played well in place of Elliott. That doesn't foreclose drafting a young backup RB. I'm intrigued by the potential of Nyhiem Hines in the 5th or 6th round. 4.38 speed, and a good change of pace back to replace Lance Dunbar. Also a good punt return specialist. Also has experience playing slot receiver.

Considering CGreen is our starting OG right now I would resign him..... and I like CGreen more than most

Definitely a 4th for Hitchens now..........So many big money FAs so far

DAL should pursue Suh and Mathieu since they don't count towards Comp Picks
It is like making a free trade

Even if they traded a 3rd for EThomas it wouldn't be so bad since they would keep the 4th for Hitchens ......if they signed Vaccaro or Reid they would the Hitchens 4th

You like Chaz Green? If Chaz Green starts one game for us we are in deep do do. Any confidence he had was gone after Garrett allowed him to get beat like a drum over and over and over again vs Atlanta. Dumbest coaching ever !!

Wait, we are going to sit out FA again?

Sweet!

He was scapegoated against ATL

He had filled in with success in the past..... but tey had him at LG all year and then threw him in at LT vs Clayborn..... some guys just create a match up problem and Clayborn was one for CGreen

It was a bad day but he could've been helped more and it shouldn't define his whole career

That is probably another reason why they have done nothing. They covet that 4th round comp pick for Hitchens. Amazing.

It doesn't loosen the purse strings

now a 7th for KSmith

maybe a 6th for AMorris and BButler

Keith Smith signed with the Raiders!

Keith Smith signed a 2-year, $4.2M deal. Good for him. He's one of those guys who only has limited earning potential in the NFL, and should go for as much as he can get. The Cowboys can now look at drafting a FB in the 5th or 6th round, and paying them a rookie minimum deal. Saves the Cowboys money in the long run, and they might get a better player. But I like Keith Smith and wish him well. He's an over-achieving underdog type player. I hope he does well in Las Vegas.

Sick and tired of winning the comp pick game. We need playmakers now!
