I don't think Moore counts because his deal averages less than $1 million. If its more than $1 million total contract then he counts.

They count until they get bumped off from the top 977.....right now Moore is still 852

My understanding is that free agents that sign for less than $1 million do not qualify for the formula. I've seen it stated in several articles about comp picks.

Corey White counted for ARI last year at 840k.... he was ranked 966
 
I want the 4th comp pick just for one reason - the ability to trade comp picks now.

Three 4ths and three 5ths or two 4ths and four 5ths is good ammo to move up.

The Cowboys aren't going to need 11 draft picks.
