Has anyone figured out or seen where our comp picks will be, as well for the other teams.

I seen back mid way through the season, which was also the last I seen on it. We may get 4, 5, 5, 6. But also seen several other similar picks, 4, 5, 5, 5, or 4, 6, ,6, 7.
even seen where someone thought, a mediate, that we may even get a 3rd from Leary, before he was injured.
Though it is the contract size that is the factor, unless incentives and bonus play into it.

Usually some cap guru will figure out a projection of all the teams.

We should get 4 picks, which will give us 10 overall, and allow some opportunities to move up if need be.

We area t 19th and if we would have lost, we would been at 16th. So really not that bad of a difference with 4 comp picks.
Trade if needed and move up. Does anyone really think 10 draft picks will make the team in 2018. Highly unlikely. Trade, come away with 6 or 7.

We should have 4 comp picks and so far based on the numbers, 2 in the 5th and either 2 in the 4th or 1 in the 3rd and 1 in the 4th, most likely 2 in the fourth.

2 4th's and 2 5th's sound about right.
The 2 in the 5th helps a lot. As we traded our 2018 5th to the Jets for their 2017 6th to get Xavier Woods. A trade well worth it. We may have stole one there.
That trade, we win you factor in moving up about 18 spots and where we are picking was basically swapping picks. But now with 2 5th comp picks, it almost feels like a freebie pick. :D

With these picks we can move up easily.
Those 4 comp picks would be worth about 200 points to move up to about 14th. No, I am not saying trade all 4 to move up. But you get the idea.

I read somewhere that it was two 4ths and two 5ths and this, they can be traded, a good time for that rule change

3 in the 4th gives you option for moving up for quality and still having the picks for quantity

It is going to be a great draft for us.
McClay has been good and you give him more weapons than ever before to draft with.

I suspect we move up though likely not in R1.
We tend to move up in later rounds to nab targets once we've seen the draft unfold.

We can move up to 41 in the second round using just our comp picks.

Or 16 in the first.

Or we can get back into the 2nd round from the 3rd

In addition to the four comp picks, the Cowboys still have six regular picks in the draft (they traded away their 2018 5th-rounder to the Jets for a 2017 6th-round pick, which they used on Xavier Woods).
That currently gives the Cowboys 10 picks in the 2018 draft as follows...
  • 1st rd: 1
  • 2nd rd: 1
  • 3rd rd: 1
  • 4th rd: 3 (of which two are comp picks)
  • 5th rd: 2 (both comp picks)
  • 6th rd: 1
  • 7th rd: 1
