Compared to Jerry Rice in first 10 years...

You are making this personal... its strictly business:D

TO made it personel, that is his problem. If he kept his mouth shut and just played the game he would have the biggest and best contract in the NFL now.

His mouth has cost him millions of dollars.

please...no offense but stop making a fool of yourself

I hated Jerry Rice, but the guy is 10x the WR and team player Terrell Owens is, was or ever will be...you can compare numbers all you want, but Owens is not even close to being in Rice's league

David

Uh, ok:rolleyes:... whenever you preface something with "no offense"... well you know what that means ;)

This is only a discussion forum... so no biggie there...

showing the results that TO provides up against an all time great is making a fool out of me or you or TO or Jerry Rice... just stick to the facts.

We know you dont want him. Its documented.
My post was a pro or con on TO(personally) it was a fact post.

And this update: He's also out of his freakin' mind... I mean, a total whack job who destroys the teams on which he plays...

Why do the TO supporters always leave out that part?? Either that, or they dismiss it with a breezy wave of the hand and a cheery "oh, Parcells can handle him"...

Well, Parcells couldn't handle Antonio Bryant, and he's a choir boy alongside of TO...

Antonio only had a "chance" at "potential". Big difference.

Terrell Owens threatened to hold out and never did.

TO called out his QB on two teams when they messed up and were not held accountable. Is this the end of the world? He was made out to be a scapegoat for other failures. Look past the media hype and see what really happened to Philadelphia. Donovan McNabb got hurt. The front office let the defense slide. The coaching staff completely disregarded the running game. TO posted near record numbers until he was suspended for no publicly disclosed reason.

Wake up, he was a scapegoat in Philly, and too expensive for San Francisco.

Antonio Bryant openly questioned the head coach's fairness and threw a jersey at him. Oh yeah, he also acts like a bipolar hot head. There's no comparison between the two really.

Yeah but if this works out we owe Philly a debt of gratitude for mishandling him and contributing to the rise of the Dallas Cowboys.

Gotta look at possibility of big picture.

You hear things like... TO is so great? yet he has no rings? but...... he did his part in FIRST YEAR in PHILLY and they did their SB choke.

Jerry Rice is a golden god. Terrell Owens is the antichrist.

Actually, Owens had a HOFer throwing to him at the start of his career and a couple other guys that went to a couple of pro bowls, like them or not.

You forgot these stats:

Teams/Teammates alienated, locker rooms torn asunder: 2

Head coaches alienated: 2

Offensive coordinators cussed out/alienated: 2

Quarterbacks who helped him to stardom alienated: 2/3

Propaganda campaigns: 1

Super Bowl victories a key part of: 0 (This ain't horseshoes.)

Weeks spent contemplating bashing "buddy" QB after SB loss: ~2

Money he'll want: $$$$

:)

STEVE YOUNG ONLY HAS SB BECAUSE OF THE DALLAS COWBOYS. He should not be in HoF.

Owens was suspended on Saturday, two days after he criticized the organization for not publicly recognizing his 100th career touchdown catch. In the same interview with ESPN.com on Thursday, Owens took another shot at quarterback Donovan McNabb, saying the Eagles would be better off with Green Bay's Brett Favre.

Owens apologized Friday in a statement and later on his weekly radio show, but the damage already was done.

Asked if Owens will play again for the Eagles, his agent, Drew Rosenhaus, told WSVN-TV:

"I don't know. We're going to have to see what the Eagles decide. Everything is very much up in the air right now. The Eagles have said that they'll think about it. They're going to make some determination as to what their plans are. Right now, this is indefinite."

A team source told ESPN's Chris Mortensen that Douglas, whose post with the Eagles he re-titled "bad-***-ador," entered the team's training room Wednesday and announced "I know there are people in here faking injuries." The comment apparently led to the scrum between Owens and Douglas.

One source told the Trenton Times the fight "was like WWE Smackdown." Another source told the paper both Douglas and Owens threw at least two punches before Owens challenged McNabb and then everyone else in the room, saying "You want some? Anyone else want some?"

"This is not what you want kids to see. I would like to apologize to my former teammates and the city of Philadelphia," Douglas said on WIP-AM on Sunday, "because this situation, it goes beyond football. It's just sad, and it's obvious [Owens] needs counseling."

McNabb told ESPN's Suzy Kolber he called a team meeting Friday, which Owens attended, to discuss the team's unrest and pronounced to all, looking at T.O. directly, "You're either with me or against me."

Owens' apologies in private to the club and in public on Friday apparently did not meet Reid's standards and T.O. was suspended on Saturday.

"Most of the leaders on the team felt that T.O.'s a grown man and he needed to handle himself accordingly," Douglas said on his radio show. "But it was a situation where we didn't know how crazy this man was, you know what I mean? We just didn't know how many issues this man had and it just got out of hand. I think everybody was sitting around like, 'Wow, I didn't know this man was this crazy.' "

he tears them apart
