The Titans hit you, their physical and they play as if there mad at the world. If they give up a yard or a big play there ready to fight each other on the sidelines like Keith Bullock did against the Ravens. Besides Albert Haynesworth and Keith Bullocks I bet no one not from the area could name three other players from that defense.
Our team has the club med approach. If we give up a play, yards or even a game our attiude is ohh well its only one, Im too good of a player to worry about that. Wheres the camera and I got radio show to do tonight etc.
The Titans make speacil team plays week in and week out and they get turnovers. Jimmy Johnson's famous quote applies to these guys "turnovers are touchdowns."
Our team is always on the losing end of the turnover and speacil team battle.
The Titans have two quailty backs that produce for them in Chris Johnson and Lendale White. This past weekend one of them had 17 carries and the other had 16 carries. Every week they each get between 15-20 carries.
If you look at our team and see that we too have a dynamic duo in Barber and Jones. The only difference is you have to break the arm of the coaching staff to get our best "offensive weapon" onto the field. I did just say that when healthy Jones is better than Roy Williams, Owens, Barber and Witten; every time he touches the ball defenses just cant catch him. In the NFL today only Adrian Peterson can also say that imo. Its obvious if you watched our games this year. The only question on Jones is his durability. Take into account all of this im refering too is before the injury.
The Titans best recieving threats are guys named Bo Sciape and Justin Gage???? Does this slow down their offense? No! They call plays the fit there team.
We have Jason Witten, Terrell Owens, and Roy Williams and we cant move the ball??????? Defintly a head scratcher.
So, after reading all of this what is the biggest difference between the two besides one being 6-0 and 4-3?
1. Attitude
2. Coaching
3. Willingness of the players to do that extra to win.
You can have the best 22 players in NFL history but if they come to the field with no emotion, wins and losses arent paramount to them, inept coaching and last but not least out of shape, "Im telling you our offensive line is out of shape" your not going to win.
