Really hope good games vs Commanders and eagles.
Bad teams might be a stretch...but the Cowboys are better than Denver, GB and NYG who beat us.Idgit;3172678 said:Lose to bad teams?

Eskimo;3172877 said:Not so sure about that. GB's defense is as good as ours and their offense is a little bit better. Considering they had homefield advantage, I would say they are a better team than us.
NYG beat us twice so there is no question on a head-to-head basis they are better than us.
Denver is hard to say - they are very inconsistent. On a good week they beat us. On a bad week, we beat them.
I think we overrate our team. Against top 10 scoring defenses we have averaged 9 ppg. Against mediocre defenses we have averaged only 15 ppg. It is against the bad defenses where we have feasted averaging 31 ppg. So it looks like our offense is just not very good unless playing against inferior competition. It is hard to beat good teams scoring so few points.

I cant argue that one bit.
Eskimo;3172906 said:On our best day we can't score against the likes of GB or Denver so it is hard to beat them unless our defense is going to pitch a near shutout. Our defense is good but is not good enough to do that very often.
We overrate our offense. We can only score against bottom half of the league offenses. We just haven't realized that teams that normally are good defensively like NYG (very bad) and Philly (mediocre) aren't as good as they normally have been. It then serves to deceive us.
Heck, SD held us to 10 points until Romo's last minute TD drive and they aren't even very good defensively and give up about 21 ppg on average.

When we're on our game, there are very few teams in this league capable of beating us.

Why would you think our performances against Gb and Denver were on our best day?Eskimo;3172906 said:On our best day we can't score against the likes of GB or Denver so it is hard to beat them unless our defense is going to pitch a near shutout.
