We see the D overall getting much love, especially Micah and the front 4... deservedly so.

But I just wanted to talk about how good the secondary is ballin.

Diggs has really tightened up his coverage and seems to be picking his spots on when to gamble, Brown had his best game in a long time...real tight coverage, without drawing a flag - which we all know is a miracle.

The safeties - we know our strong safeties can hit but now the free safety Hooker seems to be also holding it down.

Now I say complimentary cause not every sack is a fire drill to the QB - we do run a bunch of stunts and stunts at times do take time, our DB play is letting that happen.

But yes, it all starts up front and Sunday night should be the Ds biggest test of the year, BTW Wilson should introduce himself to Hurt early and often.

They have a solid DB room. Brown is still underrated but man those 2 young CB's unfortunately do not look like long term prospects. Thank goodness our safeties are stepping up to help them out this year.

Overall good post but can we stop pretending that brown is a penalty machine? Never fails to amaze me how we let 1 game define a players career.

Wasn't tryin to imply AB is a penalty machine - was generally speaking that it seems every time we have a good play we draw a flag, wether it be on offense, defense or special teams.

Kelvin Joseph is rated as one of the NFL's top gunners, though.

As far as safety, we need to lock up Hooker and Wilson on long term contracts ASAP. They're both FA after this year which is a problem.

Who are you talking about after Joseph?

Yes KJ had a good hustle play on special teams yesterday - just need him to develop as a CB - we did spend a 2nd rounder on him.

Hooker - I'd like to see him the whole year - see if he can keep up his play and avoid injuries.
