0% chance Blackmon falls that far. He's going in the top 7

Heard rumblings that he's falling big time.

Why? Off the field issues ... interviews gone bad ... what? What're we missing? Do you have a link to a reliable source or story saying Blackmon is "falling big time" that you could post? Doesn't sound right, IMO.

Blackmon's on-the-field body of work suggests Bowdown is right: "0% chance Blackmon falls that far. He's going in the top 7"

He's nowhere near the prospect that AJ Green and Julio Jones were. Casserly and another analyst stated that some teams have given Blackmon a 2nd round grade...

St. Louis is praying he will make it to 6 and if does he will be taken there

Wha? 2nd Round grade? Totally unbelievable! Blackmon is far and away the best WR in the 2012 Draft. No way he's a 2nd Rounder. Put it this way: May the Cowboys PLEASE take him at #14 if they should be so lucky as to have the option ... and I don't see where we need a 1st Round WR at all.

Some BAD info out there if this is to be believed!

I think he goes before we pick, but totally agree that AJ and Julio were better prospects. AJ Green is the best wr to come out in several years

That seems high for Worthy, but he is rising some

Don't be surprised if SL trades down

I've heard the same rumblings. Good chance he makes it to the teens. You guys are going to be shocked when it happens. Not a legitimate #1 receiver. More of a #2 receiver. Some teams like Floyd better from what I've heard

Nice draft. Only disagreements I have is Coples and Kuechly. I think both of their stocks are dropping a lot. Both will be 2nd half of the 1st round now

I'm honestly shocked about all these "rumors" of him falling. I still say no way he makes it past the rams

Your viewpoint of Blackmon is shared by not many these days. Maybe Mel Kiper and McShay say these things. There's NO way he is getting picked top 6. What would be the point of Cowboys taking Blackmon? He'd be 3rd best receiver on team

I wouldn't be surprised if a team tries to trade up for him in the mid teens.

Yeah, There's no way we would consider Blackmon!

Yeah, There's no way we would consider Blackmon!

Everyone is for some reason so delusional about Blackmon because he put up huge numbers in the Big 12, and everyone pumps him up like he is the next Jerry Rice. A lot closer to Michael Crabtree. Nobody plays pass defense in that conference, and the only guy who actually challenged him was Leonard Johnson, and Blackmon didn't catch anything other then 5 yard outs.

Not buying Blackmon at all. Has no suddenness to his game, and not a great route runner. Can't get free. The only thing he did well, he is not going to be able to do in the NFL, and thats catch uncontested short passes and then break a lot of tackles

Blackmon absolutely could fall out of the top 7. First thing going against him is that this is a deep WR class. There are plenty of good players who will be drafted in rounds 2 and 3.

St. Louis could pass on him if Richardson or Claiborne is available. Miami could pass on him if they feel like pass rusher or RT is a bigger need for them.

He will be a solid # 2 receiver in this league. Feel bad for the team thinking their going to get a top flight receiver in this league. He not even in the same class as Dez, Julio or AJ Green

Okay, my crystal ball may be slightly cloudy. I'll allow that there's a chance Justin Blackmon could still be on the board after the #7 pick, assuming the Rams pass on him w/ their #6 pick ... the Jags pass on him w/ their #7 pick ... and if the Dolphins pass on Blackmon w/ their #8 pick.

But a 2nd Round draft prospect? No way, no how. Like I said, I hope Dallas grabs him at #14 if he's still on the board, and I don't see any way we need to add a 1st Round WR to the team. Too many others draft prospect I think we could make better use of.

Blackmon's better than a WR2, as is suddenly being discussed. Where did this late scouting downgrade talk come from? Maybe he's no A.J. Green or Julio Jones — debatable but okay, fair discussion — but I still say JB's the consensus #1 WR in the 2012 Draft, w/ plenty of upside.

There's a big difference between a 2nd round prospect and a 2nd round GRADE. No teams has the exact same grades on every player. I said SOME teams have a 2nd round grade on Blackmon.

Fair enough. My shock overcame my attention span. I guess I can see where some teams may have a 2nd Round grade on him. My apologies.
