The question I start with every off-season is, “What is our plan to get better and who will we bring in to make us better?”

It’s still early but not seeing anything that resembles a new plan this year than we’ve had in recent years.

Honestly there’s no one on our list of people added so far that says, “We are clearly better at this position.” Maybe after TC and the season starts that will change but my mantra remains: I will believe it WHEN it happens.”

It appears the goal thus far is to bring in guys who have played in the NFL. Not that they played well last year.

there may not have been any big splashes right now but I'd say that's at least three times more activity before the draft than last year that's a good sign they still have a lot of money left Parsons this up next to get signed that'll free up even more money so they may not make a big move now they may wait post draft but there's gonna be some big names left and some big names cut or a significant trade...

Its not optimistic, its just poor logic. Here is a list of every transaction in the league post draft up until camp last year. How many of these moves are needle movers? Post draft is when you grab a bunch of Carl Lawson and Jordan Phillips types and hope you can hit on one or two as rotational pieces. Waiting until after the draft for them to spend $30+M in cap space is just setting yourself up for failure. We are getting to a point where its a very short window where the Cowboys can realistically make significant moves, and the blind optimists in the fan base move from 'they'll make moves' to 'the draft class is the best ever!'
