Complete list of all the Cowboys moves so far

Don’t think any of them are better than the players we lost.
PRE- DRAFT

I'm pretty sure Solomon Thomas is an upgrade I mean who do we lose that defensive tackle, so technically he's an addition without a subtraction if you look at the fact that we have Justin Rogers is back with Mazi, wheat & Joseph to go with Osa in a rotation.

Rico 2 tds his 1k was nice a bit of a CONTRACT YEAR red flag but easily as fF Now Sanders and Williams (has better career than Rico both in the league 4 years) is wash to Zeke and Rico not saying truly better but a push.

I know turner doesn't seem like upgrade for Golston but a push IMHO.. but guess what just saw Fowlers on his way back easily together that solid replacement for Golston and Tank given tanks injury history, age , cost, and only played 4 games last year. A push Maybe better along with year 2 Kneeland and Williams back.. maybe BETTER if healthy.

I'd say Sanborn and Murray together are BETTER than Kendricks with added depth, Liafu is still there, Overshown will be back sometime. Clark maybe Flus makes him viable..

I know we haven't addressed tackle yet like I don't know who the backup tackle is but I believe Robert Jones the backup guard is better than the backup guards we had last year or at least he's even an option to maybe beat out Hoffman for a starter position you never know the guy's starter level as far as comparing him to Hoffman..

So, IMHO it looks like Lewis would be the only one we lost that we clearly have no one to replace him to make us better at slot corner.

I know everybody sees things different but I'm looking at this and I see either a push or better and many of those areas except for corner and a lot of the offseason left including the draft... Any of us can spin it either way but I don't see how you can't see we're not better at linebacker in a wash at pass rush and I know it changed here in the last hour I believe I saw fowler's coming back for one year 8 million..

Not sure how he will be used in Eberflus system, it definitely won't be as attack oriented as Quinn's.
So now we're backtracking not only do we pay a guy $8 million to come back here who last year no one wanted to lose,

He had 10 1/2 sacks last year., meaning he was viable last year, so we don't want to give Jones credit for bringing him back if you look at adding him with Turner and getting back Sam Williams in my opinion we're at least a push if not better even though we lost tank who didn't really play last year and Golston..

Was gonna make a thread but never made one and didn’t want to mess it up. I’m sure someone else will get around to it soon.

Now this move I like. Though reading the Commanders fans comments it sounds like he sold out to rush the passer and didn't even attempt to stop the run. I hope we plan on stopping the run this season. I haven't seen anymore that looks like we will. Maybe the change of scheme will help?

A lot of people probably going back and deleting those Fowler is a JAG comments from a year ago.

Wow I can't believe it. Fowler is a solid move.

This is the level of signings we want. Not asking for Pro Bowlers. Just not bottom of the barrell.

Blue, you can be whatever you want to as a fan. There’s no one way to do it.
No it's just a perspective it's the way somebody looks at this I think we have improved in more than one area... In this pre draft and it's five months before the season starts they have the money and they haven't even got person signed yet that'll free up even more money so a big move can happen whether it's now or if they wait until after camp to see what they got in the draft... This is a new coaching staff that are bringing in players they think will thrive in their system so in my opinion that's already an upgrade they're bringing in their guys whether it's going to work out or not that is a positive...

Just activity alone and freeing up money this early is already light years ahead of last year whether it looks like we got better or not to some I feel like this is gain traction early with lots of time left lots of money left and the draft left it's easy to be positive not guaranteeing anything just perspective at this point..

Compared to last year, it looks tons better, including a whole new staff with a whole new outlook...

So the theme this season seems to be quantity over quality.
There was no theme last year they made like one move or two before the draft last year so we're light years ahead of last year but you don't think there's quality in there you don't know how to read things IMHO

All I'm seeing is Dallas doing what he just said he wasn't going to do - use free agency to fill holes.

The players he has signed that weren't with the team last year just replaced the ones that left.

Now whether or not those guys are an upgrade over who left remains to be seen. While I don't think so for the most part, and while I have given up hope for our Cowboys getting back to prominence while Jerry and family run the team, neither am a going to be Mr. Doom and Gloom.

Nobody knows how these moves will work out, especially with the draft yet to go, the season will be upon us this fall and we'll find out then....
