This team is a night and day difference from last year and recent history.

Dak is in complete control of this offense and you can clearly see it pre-snap, and with the success the ensuing play brings. The trust Moore has put in Prescott has unleashed a dynamic, versatile handful for opposing D’s. This is championship level offense

The defense has an edge. A next man up mentality, that no matter who is in the position to make a play, I feel immensely more confident this year than in prior years. Guys are in position, making plays, and flying around the field. Awesome. Also, you can clearly see when parsons isn’t on the field. Dude is a monster. Diggs is becoming a complete X factor as well. The team has 8 turnovers (league leaders) Credit Dan Quinn.

This team came to play against a divisional rival on Monday night and stuck it to Philly with numerous injuries, not missing a beat. Refreshing.

No clue what the hell McCarthy was thinking before the half. Terrible, but other than that this game was an A+. As we get healthier the sky is the limit.
Go cowboys!

i never questioned the offense last year with all the injuries they could still move the ball

defense amazes me i mean they are good! like top 10 good right now and the takeaways

8 in 3 games? you gotta be kidding me we havent had 8 turnover the past 8 years

We couldn't win when Lee was out due to injury during JG era. We had 6 key players on defense and 2 key players on offense out and we demolished a division opponent.

Say what you will about Fat Mike's clock management (he sucks at it) but it's evident he is getting most out the players and is making appropriate adjustments during the week to deal with the injuries/suspensions.

They were like clockwork last night. Draft some good players and talk to threaten the slacking players positions and the slackers pick it up a notch. The players are feeding off each other and it seems like the Cowboys had a few players from parts unknown on the defensive line. I'm really digging Diggs.

Defensively we are so much better so far this year than last year. I still feel we are weak up the middle though. When gallimore comes back that should help out with that. With diggs in the secondary if we can create consistent pass rush i dont see the INT's coming to a stop anytime soon.

Good post. Well said. Agree 100%. I'm so excited about this team.

It’s still early in the season—and it will feel like a long season by season’s end with the extra game thus year—which us a plus because we still need a lot of work to be a championship team. Here’s why:
  1. Offense and defense win games—defense wins championships. I like the effort on defense, but there was a LOT of confusion on the defensive side of the ball against Philthy. We need better communication and alignment between players, which is coachable. I’m looking forward to getting the firm of Lawrence and Gallimore back. Sprinkle in a disruptor like Parsons and we’ve got something. I still think we need a catalyst opposite Diggs to round out the 2ndary. R. Sherman or Bossman Fat??
  2. On offense, we still need to tweak the O-line. Biadasz HAS to play better or be replaced by the end of October. Also, some of KM’s play calling inside the red one is still questionable. It’s like we can methodically move the ball down the field and then have brain-freeze on what plays to call inside the red zone. Loved the fast pace on Offense last night, but we looked a little too jittery at times. We must play fast BUT calm, cool, and collected at the same time. MM’s game management came into question yet again right before the half. We should have had better clock management to possibly try for a FG rather than to let the clock run out.
  3. Special Teams. Greg “The Leg” may either win us a playoff game or lose us one. Too unpredictable for playoff contention. Remember when Jimmy Johnson ditched his kicker midway in the ‘93 season in favor of the aged (but reliable) Eddie Murray? He was money down the stretch in that SB season.
