I'm sure like the rest of you, I absolutley can't wait for the season to roll around. I am dieing just waiting for training camp.I thought it might be fun/interesting just to see who everyone has as their 12 playoff teams for the NFC and AFC. Again I know it is way too early for these predicitons to matter or have serious basis, but lets see everyones surprises and sleepers just to pass the time.

NFC AFC

East- Cowboys East- Pats
North- Vikings North- Steelers
South- Panthers South- Jags
West- Seahawks West- Chargers

Wildcards- Rams/Saints Wildcards- Colts/Jets

The Rams, REALLY??? They were the second worst team in the league (the worst in the NFC).

Yeah, some teams did very well in FA and the draft which will change things.

I have NO, GB and Indy winning their divisions:

East- Cowboys East- Pats
North- GB North- Steelers
South- NO South- Indy
West- Seahawks West- Chargers

Wildcards- Gints, Philly Wildcards- Jags, Denver

Yep, that's very unlikely to ever happen. That's like the Rams going 4-12 one year and then winning the Super Bowl the next season. That's a fantasy! :laugh2:

Hey! Wait one cotton-pickin' minute!

lol I hear ya.. the Rams were my surprise pick..I'd have to look back on it, but I think Bulger was 100% for maybe a couple games, I think S. Jax was banged up too. I just think they'll have enough offense to beat up on the west and win 9 games.

I was goin to go with thr trend of 3 East teams making it...But as confident as I am in our Boys, I think we finally handle business in the division and knock out or foes

Yeah, but even so I look at the NFC and I am not seeing anyone who will end up with the 10 Ws they both will. I think Minny is overrated. I do like them but no QB will always be a problem.

NY is solid. Philly made some nice additions and I think Mcnabb improves in his 2nd year back from surgery.

Carolina too actually. They could bump one. I like their off season too. Dont love the QB at this point though.

NO I think bounces back and has a great year. Their O could be scary. D is much improved.

I like Jax a lot. Another very improved team. But I think Indy edges them.

I agree with you about Carolina making strides this year.
Just drafting Stewart will improve their offense greatly, and they already have a good D.

You're right!!! Clearly, this happens all the time then and that makes it a very safe pick. Thanks!

I thought the DJ Hackett signing was very good as well. They havent had a speedy compliment to Smith, well, ever! I wish we had stuck him next to TO.

Their top 4 draft picks were all GREAT! Stewart, Otah, CB Godfrey and Dan Conner in the 4th!

We'll see what Delhomme has left....

S Jax and Bulger were my round 1 and round 3 picks last year in fantasy, and they ***** me over! I bear a small grudge. But I could see it, but would pick the Eagles, the Giants (they did just win a super bowl after all and have made the playoffs 3 years in a row), the Skins (yeah yeah, save it), DA BEARS and AZ over STL, even if they return to their previous offensive prowess.

DJ Hackett was a great signing for them. I was really hoping he'd play for the Skins... Steve Smith needs a decent QB to throw to him and frankly, he hasn't had that since 05 (and Delhomme threw to him in 06).

No Giants. No Eagles. No Skins.

I'd love that but I seriously doubt all three will be left out. The best reason for that is that playing in the NFC East will be a dog fight and will bloody everyone's nose.
