Computer help

Hey guys I am so sorry I was not able to get on the computer last night to get the information that was requested. We had a community "watch night" last night regarding meth and I attended it to pass out some information for a project I am doing. I will do my best to get the info this evening

Well guys I checked for the agent.exe and it is no longer running. Something I did must have gotten rid of it. Computer still lags a bit but that could be because I only have 512megs of ram

Is that little gold shield still down there? Maybe the computer finally had time to download and install the updates.

If it was SP3 it was trying to download and install it could take anywhere from 30-60 minutes mostly for the install.

Yup its gone. So that must have been it. I don't know why it took it so long. I leave my computer on almost all the time. I shut it down usually every 2-3 days

Might be where that bubble will pop up saying something about updates but it can go back down after some time but it still requires, sometimes, you to click on the download or install updates option.

You might have not seen it or just clicked it close without realizing it.

Who knows...but at least it is fixed for now.

If it does again you will no what to do but you can always turn off the automatic updates as long as you make sure to check for updates once a week.

And just because you might get a big update, like SP3 (service pack 3) does not mean you have all of the updates. Since that update has been out for a little while now, there may be more since then that you have to check on.
