I've watched Donovan Ezerrauku during both games very closely (as well as preseason).

He looks completely overmatched. Way too small and way too weak. The burst isn't there that we heard about, and he's barely sniffed a play thus far.

Looks like he needs a season in the weight room. Clowney should get all his reps.

just goes to show that what happens in college does not always happen in the pros

and that training camp All Pros often disappear when the games become real

Too early to throw in the towel of course'
BUT all those who were drooling over this guy need to shut up until he actually does something

He's going to need time. Time in the weight room, time to learn how to beat NFL tackles, time to adjust to the speed of the game, time to learn technique. He won off the snap with a variety of moves at Boston College, but pro linemen already know all those tricks.

The slow start is concerning, but I am not going to write his career off after two games.

For what it’s worth, he had a nice PFF score against the pass.

I agree though that against the run, he looks like he will benefit from and off season weight program.

Haven't seen even a flash from him in these two weeks. But, he's a rookie and it's very early. Long season.

We were spoiled watching a guy who is the 2nd player to record 12 or more sacks in their first 4 seasons (only Reggie White did it as well). Comparing him to Parsons isn't fair to him. The guy in Green Bay can be a HOFer if he stays on the path he has been on.

Hopefully, Ezeiruaku keeps developing and shows the same abilities he showed at BC. Maybe we don't see anything until late in the season or year 2. As a fan I hope he can be productive in 2025, though.

2nd half of the year player lol Hopefully he get's better with time but yeah he needs to get in the weight room. Seems to spend too much time on the ground.

He's gotten a couple of pressures but not much. He seems to be at his best when he can rip down a lineman's arms and bend around him. Trouble is he doesn't have the strength to consistently rip free. Size is why he made it to the second round. He's going to have to put in some work to overcome it.

Right now, the ends I want to see out there the most are Houston, Kneeland and Clowney. Williams has shown a little (got the pressure on Wilson's interception), but EZ and Fowler aren't doing much for me.

Good job Jerry wasn't persuaded to draft him at #12 Hope he can get stronger, I suspect this isn't the right scheme for him.

Nothing to be concerned about, He's a 2nd round pick for crying out loud. Now if he was drafted where Booker was, then id be a little bummed out.

He's a rookie, but what's Sam Williams excuse. He's been a disappointment
Sam is just coming back from missing all of last season with a torn MCL and ACL. People thinking he was just going to walk on the field and excel are almost as delusional as the ones that thought Donovan would come in as a rookie and do that (No, I am not saying that Sam was going to be a 10 sack man without the injury).

I heard on a podcast today that he got 3 straight pressures when NYG was in the redzone the first trip of the game. I don't recall that so I will have to go back and watch the game. But I am with you. Been a little disappointed considering what was said about him during camp.
