As it stands we are one injury away from Webb being a starter on nickel packages. This kid has shown improvement but is not ready to be seeing lots of play on the field. The QBs in this league will feast on him. I don't get why we cut Moore, and the lack of a waiver claim on a CB leaves me concerned what the plan is.

I'll go one better. We're a car wreck away from potentially having no cornerbacks.

This is why they made sleep aids.

The problem isn't that Webb is #4, the problem is there's nobody behind him. Webb would be #4 had they kept another CB.

A fifth cb apparently would be inactive.

Pellerin is going on the practice squad.

Broaddus mentioned the team had interest in Chris Carr.

I'm sure the Carr interest was as a returner. I don't think he's much of a cb.

Hope we take a look at Sheldon Brown. Isn't he the prototypical corner that Kiffin looks for? Physical, gang tackling, run support guy?

cb arent important without a pass rush. you know how we wasted a draft pick on mo and money on carr.

We do need a #5 CB, no matter how some like to belittle the position it is a premium position and Moore was obviously not the answer.

I look for us to go light there all season, pray for health, and pick up another 'Webb-like' guy in the middle rounds of next years draft or pick up a cheap vet.

I think the key here is the Cowboys likely felt that Moore and Pellerin were comparable players. Now that Pellerin in on the practice squad, they can move him up if needed.

Especially in games like Denver,Detroit,Saints,Packers, even the Giants I don't really want to we Webb on the field too much. Hopefully we are wrong.

I like Webb, he's has a lot of potential but you're right he's not ready
