Concerns on Cooper injury

I don't see this discussed very often.

Seems like this foot issue could be a recurring problem for the year. Cooper not being available or at diminished capacity seems like it would be a significant hit to the offense. Gallup looks great but I'm not sure that he's at Cooper's level.

Any concerns here?

He’s had this foot issue since college. He’s maintained well. Don’t fret about it too much.

Injuries with this team are always a concern because they don't always come with the truth about the injury or recovery time and then Booger is always skeptical about the severity of their injury, just ask Barber and Ratliff. He thinks his optimism has magical healing power.

Dak+injured cooper-zeke = big problems on offense.

No concerns.

So many vets get "injured" during the pre-season and it's usually nothing but them trying to get out of practice and get fresh for the season.

Cooper probably knew he was ready, had a little something going on with his foot, and shut it down until week 1.

Cowboys claim it's a different muscle than his previous plantar fascia.

This has been discussed a bunch actually.

That being said. Cooper May have some pain. But I’m
Not worried about it until I actually see him missing time or having his play negatively impacted

ditto here as well.

has he missed anytime due to this condition ? and apparently it didn't play into any consideration against trading for him nor negotiating for his next contract here, which
apparently is awaiting to see what occurs with the Julio Jones contract with ATL.

Isn't it a bit premature to simply assume this could be a recurring problem?

Don't know. It's been unclear as to what it actually is. If it's plantar fasciitis, then it's not going to go away while he's playing on it.

The Cooperettes will be able to use that as an excuse when he doesn't make a decent showing in a game(s), the foot was acting up. The foot, always the foot.
