There is nothing more tragic than to bury one's own child.
My heart bleeds, this near Eve of Christmas and I hope the angels look down upon this family and let them know that he is in comfort's arms and there is no greater love than that he could be with.

He will be waiting for his family to join him and they will rejoice in their reunion.

It is my hope.
It is my belief.

God Bless them.

Thoughts and prayers for his family. No one ever deserves to go through something like this.

Oh my, 15 years old? Can't possibly imagine or make sense of that. Prayers to all the Hatcher family especially mom and dad.

No parent should ever have to bury their child. My best friend was killed at the age of 14 due to a gun accident. He was at a party and one of the kids there had just received a new shotgun for Christmas. He was showing it off, thought it was unloaded, and was walking down the hall racking the chamber. Sat down just few feet away from my friend and the gun goes off. Killed him instantly and it was a closed-casket funeral. I still remember coming across the answering machine message his mother left my mother just after she found out my friend had died. It was months later and I was deleting some message and there was the message from my friend's mom. The pain in her voice haunts me to this day. I'll never forget it.

Wow. So tragic and this time of year makes it even harder. Definitely be praying for the family. News like this makes me not care about football and the game yesterday. Prayers going up for them.

One thing I really appreciate about this site and this community is we fight, bicker, get snarky, etc but when things happen that are above football we respond accordingly. I'm proud to be apart of this community knowing the quality of people that post here. These types of threads display that.

God bless all of you
