Confession

Put Romo on the Chiefs and they're a Super Bowl favorite. Put Alex Smith on the Cowboys and they're 3-13. Fix the D, then watch how many games we win and see how much love Romo gets. Our franchise QB is NOT the problem. Ask the 2012 Saints.

Alex Smith really doesn't get enough credit. I used to diss the guy but watching him run KC offense I was impressed. KC lost to Chargers not because of Alex. He actually drove the team down and scored a touchdown to put KC ahead with only a min left in the game. KC defense let him down.

I like Romo but I won't go and say Alex can't get us to 8-8 or similar record to what we have currently. Look at Alex over past three years. All he does is WIN. I can't criticize a guy for winning. After watching the Romo threw that INT to Austin...... if Alex was avail I wouldn't ming giving the guy a shot.

Sadly, you'll learn to handle these losses just like the blowouts w/o getting too worked up. Its the only way to cope as long as Jerry and Company stay the same. If Red is back next year prepare yourself for 2 of these next season. He seems to be good for 2 of these games a season.

I've been around a while and I've seen the ups and downs. But seeing what they've done to this franchise just gets my blood boiling. I hope Red is long gone after the season, along with Kiffin, Callahan and the rest of them so maybe I won't have to deal with listening to Opie explain his non-existent game plans and his freaking "process." Then I just have to wait for Jerry to meet his maker......

Hahaha. Same mindset that had people thinking Eli was a great QB and believing in Tim Tebow. It's sad that it's almost 2014 and some fans still don't realize that teams win and lose games, NOT QBs.

How did Alex do in SF when the 49ers D was pathetic? How is Eli doing this year with a pathetic Giants D? Badly? Gee, what a coincidence!

I've been a Romo supporter and still is. But this team needs a shake up. I understand that TEAM win/lose games not QB alone. But you can't say you didn't wince when Romo threw that INT to Austin after he magically eluded Mattews. All I am saying is that people think NO OTHER QB can be in Dallas and do Romo does...well, maybe no, maybe yes. Don't be so close minded and believe Romo is your only savior. That's the problem with JJ. Once he falls in love with a player he won't draft someone to replace them until it's too late. That's not how you run a franchise.

And in the first half ?

They did all they could.

Be honest, the D is not elite, but this game is not on them.

It is the play calling.

This offense played well enough to win most games. You can point to play calling etc. but that is a terrible post hoc explanation. Had we run and run and run, gotten stopped and had several three and outs' people would be saying we needed to throw b/c of the 11 defenders at the LOS.

Of course, all that stuff gets magnified when your D is a freaking sieve that allows 35 points in a half.

You guys

We have a giant mirror outside the east end of the stadium.

We have a Victoria's Secret inside the stadium.

Nothing else needs to be said. Those who made those decisions are running the football side on a daily basis.

That is the bottom line. Don't get mad when we lose, just accept that with these people in charge it's all we will do.
