Nothing on Livings yet?

Will probably be quiet through the weekend. Let the rush slow down, then try and add a center and another CB.

I heard on the radio, that the Cowboys claim Bernadeau is around 325.

All the top centers are still available, but we haven't had any visits yet.

From this article:

The last time the Cowboys signed this many unrestricted free agents came in 2006, when they added Akin Ayodele, Rocky Boiman, Jason Fabini, Ryan Hannam, Kyle Kosier and Mike Vanderjagt.

So from that haul we got one serviceable player? Please, please, PLEASE let this group of FAs make a bigger impact. For the record I am betting they will have a much larger impact. But I would guess we thought these were some all around good signings at the time as well.

there should be quite a few available in the third round or later.

-Phillip Blake, Baylor
-Ben Jones, Georgia
-Michael Brewster, Ohio State (an upgrade over Costa but would be a worst case scenario in round 3/solid option in round 4).

and if all of these guys are gone, we could always move a gurad like Kosier or Arkin to center and draft a third round guard.

I think they have done a good job of addressing most of our needs and have left us in position to draft BPA throughout the draft. None of these players are going to be super stars and some won't even be starters but they're all building blocks.

Livings is meeting with the staff now.

I'm very happy with what they've done so far this off season.

Me too.

To expect all the holes to be filled through free agency is unrealistic.

Let's see what the team looks like after the draft.

Exactly.

I think this class is hands down better...the Carr signing alone is probably better than that entire class was. Ayodele, Kosier, and Vanderjagt were the only ones penciled as starters IIRC. Carr, Vickers, and Pool are sure to start, and Connor will see quite a bit of action. Not sure about Bernadeau yet, but Orton is great value as a backup.

Exactly. I firmly believe that we are on year two of a three year rebuilding plan.

Blake and Jones, Brewster would be a waste
so Brewster will be the pick

Really like Blake hoping his age (27 in nov) means he will be there in r4

Bernedeau might be insurance at RT.

Livings could soon be added.

No word on a Center option yet. I sure owuld like Chris Myers, but I'll take an upgrade in the Draft too.

I'd like to see some DL attention and Coleman released.
