Confirmed Cowboys Free Agent Signings

Me too.

To expect all the holes to be filled through free agency is unrealistic.

Let's see what the team looks like after the draft.

I didn't expect all the holes to be filled in free agency. But I did hope that we'd be aggressive to upgrade our most critical need, the OL.

The way I see it, we'll go into the draft in desperate need of interior linemen.

Sorry, bad joke.

lol

Nevermind. Saw it. That's awesome news! I was trying not to get my hopes up, but seeing these two roam the same side of the field together again is going to be one of the highlights of this season for me!

:D :starspin

I think they have done a good job of addressing most of our needs and have left us in position to draft BPA throughout the draft. None of these players are going to be super stars and some won't even be starters but they're all building blocks.

Well, as it is, the BPA better be an interior offensive lineman or a pass-rushing DL. Those two areas were among the top three concerns going into the offseason and haven't been upgraded yet.

Right or wrong, the Talkin' Cowboys guys seem to think that coaches feel that Costa will be fine with big OGs next to him. That teams were taking advantage of the whole interior being small and Costa wasn't the problem.

Costa wasn't the problem at all.. with his alligator arms, and constantly getting thrown around like a rag doll. No, he was great. Especially when a penalty was called on him and everyone else on both teams was walking off the 5 yards while he was still down in his stance unaware of anything going on around him like a doofus.

Yea, he's great.

Yeah, I bet you Penn-state loving *** is happy!

Isn't Arkin supposed to be making the move to C? I thought I remember reading that he was being trained there all last season and is at a center camp this offseason getting ready.

Then we need to fire those coaches. Phil Costa is not an NFL player.

Connor is pretty small for a linebacker. He sounds Dexter Coakley small. Unless we sign a mammoth NT we could be vulnerable up the middle, especially in short yardage situations, unless he is going to be a nickle LB.

That's the rumor.

Honestly, anybody but Costa at this point.

Connor is more of a run stuffer, you don't want him in coverage.

He will fit in nicely as a rotational guy against the run.

BTW, he's around the same size as Lee, hes not small like Dex.

I think they might make one or two additional moves in free agency still. If they can upgrade at DE, Center, and/or TE I will be ecstatic. Obviously, I don't expect them to sign any elite players at those positions, but if they can make even a slight improvement in two out of those three positions, they can mostly focus on PBA during the draft rather than need.
