Ahhh... I dont think that was the real big 5 either. Favre in previous games were throwing short passes to get us win. He went deep 8 times I think when in average he only threw it deep 8 times a game. It worked better when he was throwing it short and when Rodgers was throwing them short. Must have changed gameplan.
KGB would have deffinetly made a difference. You guys were doubling away on our Dlineman and with KGB he would have been able to get some more rushed throws. Woodson would have helped because Bush sucked plain and simple. Word is he may get released for his backing game this week and last week. Missing Rouse was also huge because Bigby is one of the worst pass defending Safeties. Rouse has proven to be very valuble in this game.
Injuries are part of the game though. Its ok to lose this one but get ready for the next one. Good Game.
Look GB isn't the first team to try to use that offense or something similar, Its been around for a long time. And it has been successful in a few variations but it was then and is now a QB killer. You can get away with it until you play a team with a really good front 7 and then you pay the price.
Anyway I'm sorry your team had injuries and they played their hearts out. But You do know that the Cowboys have yet to line up its starting secondary with each player playing their position don't you? And they still didn't last night.
Our team has been dealing with injuries all year that is the nature of football, somehow they have found a way to overcome. It hasn't always looked pretty but its won games this is no exception.
Anyway like you said we will probably meet again and hopefully everyone will be healthy including us. Then we can start all of our secondary in their proper positions and really put the foot on the throat of that GB offense.
