What an embarissing loss for Texas. Any team with NC hopes should be able to beat KState with a cheerleader at QB. No excuses, Texas was a pretender this year.

The biggest question after tonight's game: Which sucks harder, Jevan Snead or the tu secondary?

Hard to blame the guy too much, he went from thinking about where to transfer to playing in about 5 minutes. I think Texas Oline sucked more than anything.

Luckily for the sips, Fran was taking notes on tonight's game, but will promptly shred them, throw them in a wood chipper and burn them. A&M will come out an try to run the option to the short side of the field against tu all day.

Actually the option is most successful when ran to the short side of the field statistically.

lmao!!

The day Fran and McGee throw enough to shed Texas is the day you actually win a National Championship.

McGee one-hops more passes than a mongoloid girlscout.

Snead looked like a true Frosh, but still passed for 191 and 1TD with NO turnovers...

Texas screwed themselves with 3 turnovers in 3 mins...that was the difference maker.

If McCoy is not hurt, Texas lays 50 on them easy without K state scoring 21.

Good football teams, correct that top 5 football teams, overcome injuries and adversity to beat lesser teams.

McCoy can cover receivers and create pressure on the QB? He must be REALLY good :lmao:

Instead of making more excuses on why my team lost tonight, I, too, will also offer my congratulations to K-State fans on their team's victory tonight.

The bottom line is that no matter how you slice or dice it, K-State wanted this win more than the Longhorns did and it reflected in how they played throughout the entire game. They refused to be intimidated or get frustrated when it looked like Texas was finally turning things around in the 3rd quarter. So my hat's off to 'em for pulling it off tonight.

the secondary hasn't played well at all lately. hard to believe considering you have possibly 3 first day picks among them

Well it wasn't on the first drive, but in 2001 Colorado lost starting QB Craig Ochs to a foot injury early in the 2nd Quarter on the road against Oklahoma State. Backup Bobby Pesavento came in and went 15-20 for 180 yards with an interception and a touchdown, the game winner with 5:54 left for a final score of 22-19. Colorado finished #3 in the final BCS standings.

Put that in your pipe and smoke it.

Will McCoy miss next weekend?

BTW, who would have thought that Gary Darnell would have a better season than Gene Chizik?
I don't know why you are reveling in another team's defeat so joyously, every single Texas team in the Big 12 lost Saturday including your own.

i think the bigger question is what happened to the "a and m big 12 champs" sig?

pretty sad when you're more excited about what happens to your rival than your own team.

but that's life as an aggie, i guess. :laugh2:

But isn't Josh Freeman a true freshman too?

He put up 19-31 for 269 yards 3 TD's and an INT and a 159 QB rating while completeing 61% of his passes. Plus a rushing TD to boot. Grant you, he didn't expect to warm the bench like Snead.

Anyway, incredible game by K State. They were fired up, and just plain wanted it more. Biggest win for K State since 2003 over OU in the Big 12 Championship game.

yes, but it was not his first time to really step into action. Snead was obviously rushing things because he had to come in and shoulder a team's National Championship hopes and go score for score with an inferior team...he finally started to calm down late in the game, but he did play well for the situation he was put in.

Kudos to K-State, great gameplan and play.
