You could just feel it during that first series. We didn't come out ready to play. I thought it would get better as the game wore on. Especially on D, it seemed like most were just going thru the motions.

I sensed the same feeling. I almost felt like it could of been a repeat of the '05 showing in Washington a couple years back. But like usual, we did not take advantage of the oppurtunities we were giving. Whenever you give up good chances like that against a good team, you will never pull out on top

Very astute. I felt the same way. I still felt like we still would pull it off. Actually, there were plenty of times there I thought we might lose this one.

We fought against the skins today. They played a heck of a game. We just have too many playmakers.

Your right. I have nothing to prove that that would be the case. However, I have seen ST go up against recievers such as Moss and T.O. in the past and shut them down numerous times, and I have seen what our defense is like with him in the lineup and with him not in the lineup.

But like you said, you cant predict something that doesnt happen. And who knows, Taylor could have shown his form from last year and gotten burnt more then four times. But we will never know, because it is just speculation.

One thing we can agree on though, is that the better team pulled out the victory.

It cracks me up whenver skins fan uses Taylor as an excuse or if Taylor was playing TO wouldn't have gotten 4 TDs. Taylor is a SS for a reason, not fast enough and he cannot cover TO, period. If TO caught a slant pass for TD then Taylor would have shot at TO but only one TD pass was short one and three other TDs were long pass plays and Taylor would have had little impact on the plays if any.

Taylor is a FS, always has been, always will be, Washington puts him back in deep coverage to try to prevent what TO did all day today, but on 3 of those TD passes, Taylor would have had alot of ground to cover to be in a position to do something about it, which I don't think he would have if he played

although I must say he probably would have had a pick on the day, on that underthrown ball to Crayton that was eventually called a PI on Doughty, but he's Sean Taylor, so he could have easily interfered on that play too
