I was impressed with Costa. If he continues the level of play he showed yesterday, I'll have to admit I was wrong about him.

I'm not going to jump the gun and say the guy is the answer at center.

But I will say he's showed some upside yesterday...

Some upside that offers encouragement.

Costa was a +6.3 yesterday (per the PFF rating system).

Easily the best game of his career.

His worst game?

Vs New England last season where he registered a -6.1.

For all of last season he was a -9.3.

I thought he had been better the last couple of games. I was watching the interior oline mostly though and Bernadeau is still terrible.

I thought he was doing better, as well...and then I thought he didn't look to good yesterday.

I thought the interior OL was pretty good yesterday and the left side was really good. I think at this point, I believe that we're clearly a left-handed team and that we only run right to keep teams honest.

We've heard people on this board consistently talk about how Costa is good at run blocking. He really looked like a different player yesterday. I'd also say it looked like Living and Bern had good days too ...well, better for Bern, not great
