Congrats to our Cowboys

With the win over the saints we are now just one of only 3 teams that have a winning record for 5 straight seasons. I know it doest sound like allot but seriously only 3 teams have done it, And in this day and age of 11-5 one year and 4-12 the next we have managed to at least be a little consistent in terms of winning. Through all the soap opera B.S distractions that this team has been through during this period from parcels to TO to Romo and Wade. I just thought a little kudos was in order for the team we support ..

The top 3 are:

Pats -9 winning seasons in a row
Colts - 8
Cowboys-5

our record during that time is 49-29

If we make the playoffs this year it will be the third appearance during this period.

Now have we won a super bowl? No, Heck we haven't even won a playoff game but at least we have a chance. Year in and year out we play winning football and eventually we will make our run.

There's allot of fans of some teams that wish they had the shot for 1 winning season ( Detroit has 1 this decade in 2000) but I for one am happy we are still playing meaningful games in December something you would never believe if you watched ESPN and were told how much we suck.

This is why I think Wade Phillips is our Head Coach if we make a deep Playoff Run, ie NFCCG or maybe the Super Bowl and lose.

In my mind, if we get to the Super Bowl, win or lose, you have to bring Wade Phillips back.

Actually, if we make it to the NFCCG, I think you have to bring Wade Phillips back.

That would mean we won at least 2 Playoffs Games (assuming we don't get the 2nd Seed).

Win's against the Saints, late season, are the kinds of wins that inspire deep playoff runs.

The Cowboys should dismantle the Commanders and handle the Eagles accordingly to win the NFC East.

Thank you. I thought about posting something similar, but knew everyone would just talk about how not winning playoff games or Superbowls means we haven't done anything yet.

But I'm glad you did it.

I like these winning seasons. Like you said, it's harder than ever to win every single year without having a really down season. I get excited about every single game from September on, so this makes for a great year.
