That was a nice smooth catch.

Wait until we get on a roll.

The defensive effort wouldnt have meant a thing without that catch for a TD.... Tampa possibly drives at the end for Game Winning FG.

I like how he was still able to make a catch after being interfeered with. Nice concentration.

Then that was a nice gesture by him to give the ball to Kevin Burnett's baby.

Almost every catch i saw Roy make today looked like passes that TO would have dropped or hit away it seemed like. He really did good. I remember the lions fans saying he has hands of stone and it certainly didnt look like that today.

The defense is/was a huge portion of the problems here. Injuries, of course, are another. If the defense can keep this intensity and solid play, the team will get healthier, thus the offense will get back on track.

How big is Felix Jones right now?

Now if we can just get a QB on the field that can hit RW with any regularity - or, for that matter, any other Dallas target NOT named Marion Barber.

Physically he resembles Owens, but they certainly have different skills.

Roy has better hands. You can see he's just more of a natural receiver. He also has a larger catching radius. Certainly a better choice for an endzone fade.

Owens is not so much faster than Roy as he is quicker. He accelerates much better than Roy making him harder to cover. This isn't a knock on Roy. It's just that Owens is just a freak of nature. Humans of that size aren't suppose to move the way he does.

That is the type of thing I expect to see more and more of as the season goes along, and we start to get healthy, because he's such a huge target in the Redzone. At some point, when we're all healthy, we could have him, TO, and Bennett all in there in redzone packages and that's a lot of speed, and size, to have to deal with in that all important area.

They are two different types of Receivers.

Now we have BOTH types ;)

Yep.

Roy is a natural WR.
TO is a self-made WR.

Again... Now we have both.

We should stay grounded. Roy had what, 2 catches all game ? He's expected to pull down those fade routes.

So that's who that was? Man, if that was KB's wife holding the kid, he is doing really really well. She's hawt.
