Matt Cassel's wife just had a baby today.

As a father, I know what the sleep schedule is like early on.

Here's hoping she's got lots of help, and he has a quiet place to sleep.

I'm sure he is managing it... I would think the team has probably has had a hand in getting them help

I read that she gave birth Saturday, but your point is well taken. Maybe he can catch up a little on his sleep when the team foes to NY.:)

4 is nothing! Rivers is working on his 8th!!!

Gotta provide for the growing family, play well on Sunday.

If only she would have held that baby in for another 3 weeks until Romo gets back.

He better get his priorities straight and get his butt in that playbook!

Cut his head off!!!

The main good news (besides the wife and child's good health) was that she wasn't in labor while he was in NY. So everyone is relieved all around.

Giving birth during the Bye Week seems like perfect timing, almost planned.

Good for him but dumb thread by the op. Cassell has had 1 big contract and he's on the vet minimum which is what? 500k a season? I highly doubt even his wife provides the majority of caregiver duties.

He has made over 60m and is making 2m this year. They can afford help.
