Classy post Phoenix. Good luck until we meet again. We show up and play with the same intensity against the Giants and the sky is the limit!

I agree.

Just wondering PT, what's your reaction to TO sporting the Michael Irvin jersey after the game?

I was unable to see the game here In the Washington DC area, but the scores were enough for me to know that your team must have played one helleva game -- congratulations!

I'm just now sitting down with a nice bowl of crow stew with some fava beans and a nice chianti.

I like Michael Irvin also -- I couldn't do it, but I don't have a problem with it.

Hey Phoenix,

I just want to let you know that Sheldon Brown is a PLAYA!!!

Goodness! Jimmy Johnson would have a man crush on this guy because all he does is "Make Plays!!"

If he keeps playing like that, I will have to call him Eric Allen.

Horsecrap!

Our WR's were schoolin him for some reason yesterday. He was in the right place at the right time and got a lucky bounce off Key's ARSE.

A good player is going to get that bounce. There was nobody in front of him for 80 yards.

There was nothing about that play that says PLAYA!!! :laugh2:

I don't know PT. You're Eagles have some real questions on defense. Those corners aren't nearly as good as most think they are. Lito was just torched. Obviously pass rush is a real problem for the Eagles. Like the Cowboys, I'm not sure where the Eagles are headed.

Here I come, after the thread is almost over, but..

Iggles have some DL injury issues and losing Corey Simon doesn't help them. Simon pretty much insured Gurode would never have a career at guard. And any corners, absent a pass rush, look awful. We've had plenty of experience in that dimension.

This isn't to take away anything from Glen, who seems to have some advantages versus Lito. But this is the first time in my memory when Dallas pretty much blocked out the Eagle blitzes since JJ arrived there.

PT..I think we are not the same Dallas team you may have assumed though with our sporadic start I could see why you would have thought as much but even those losses were winnable games for us. Our young drafted talent is developing as is the transition of players in the defense overall so production, though sporadic early on may be substantial later in the season.

Philly found out we have Both a QB and an offensive line with enough of a running attack to make it all work. I also think you may have assumed Philly was better than they actually are this year (not last), but you base this on last years performance primarily. Philly still is loaded with talent to be sure but chinks in the formerly indestructable armour have been identified and exposed. You have virtually no running attack and thus Reids offense is now predictable and pass happy.

Teams also are aware McNabb is a sitting duck and will eventually force the surgery issue because he simply will be unable to go before to long. There really is no major threat outside of TO and Westbrook in the passing game and with very little out of the running game Philly has become one dimensional. The defense has to be a conncern because the pass rush is poor, they cannot stop the run consistently and now the corners are getting exposed..as well as M. Lewis.

I do not think it is the case that Philly is this bad or that the Cowboys are that good but what I do think is the Eagles are not quite as good as you assumed nor is Dallas as poor as you assumed IMO..that is being honest :)
