Winston is a stud for sure. Saw that when he won Elite 11.

He was clearly a special talent.

Can't comment on his personal stuff except that he was vindicated legally thus far.
The accuser says she was hit in the head and knocked loopy thus lacks for details.
DA says she has holes in her story.

I don't know what to even make of that.

I will say this.

I think the Heisman should not be given to Freshmen.
Too much of a black eye for the sport and the award.

Controversy has surrounded Manziel and Winston.

There is a reason you want kids to mature before you anoint them.

I'm in agreement with BoysFan4ever. I don't think the whole story is out on that sexual assault case that was dropped. I want nothing to do with that kid. I thought Manziel should have won it again. Winston was lucky to have a powerhouse team. Manziel was a one-man show moreso this year than he ever was last year. Better overall numbers too.

I believe Manziel is the best player in college football. Not included in those stats, he rushed for almost 700 yards, Winston hardly runs at all.

Manziel also had to play Missouri, Auburn, Alabama, and LSU, defenses which are all loaded with future NFL players. The defensive talent of Miami, Clemson, and Duke isn't in the same universe.

Having said that, no way Manziel was going to win with 4 losses.

If you throw in rushing yards then Manziel did out produce Winston by 390 total yards(passing and rushing). Manziel also had 98 more attempts(passing and rushing) than Winston. Manziel averaged 8.43 yards per play(passing attempts and rushes) while Winston averaged 9.46 yards per play.
