Your opinion please. I had Conner Williams ranked from 20 to 30 in the first Round. I would probably give Dallas an A or B+ where they drafted him however I've noticed two places have given us the folloing grades. What' your opinion on Conner Williams ?

I am so-so on him only because he may be a swing guy so until he becomes a starter, I have reservations on a 2nd rounder being a back-up; that being said, I like the pick as it makes the OLine unit better, more competition, and especially where we took him (had him at #37)

I’m encouraged by how highly he was ranked after his 2016 season. He was the #1 lineman overall. That tells me the talent is there. Now it’s just coaching it out of him.

Starts at LG day 1. Needs to add another 15-20 pounds. Keeping Collins at RT makes the pick even better
I read somehere he cut his weight down from 310 before the Combine so he could score higher in some drills but his typical playing weight was around 310 to 315. I believe he went down to 295 but probaby will get back to 310

wow Walterfootball was brutal on that pick calling it a pretty poor pick.

To me, Conner is a check with me pick. The Cowboys drafted him, IMO, because they believe he has the feet and the intelligence to transition to Guard but, he will have to gain some strength and some weight to do this. That means that he will not be a starting Guard day one, IMO. However, he could eventually turn into that. Now, the part that is a check with me is if he could become a solid LT in the NFL, which I believe he can. This kid has excellent feet but he needs to get stronger. I think the Cowboys are thinking that there may be a chance that he becomes the LT if Smith's back is an issue, down the line.

Nothing revolutionary here, just common sense to me.

Hes not swing he will start day 1 at Guard and be solid. Hes got great movement. Now im not saying that im 100% sue what Coaches plan is but i think he' your starting guard with Collins staying at Tackle.

I think a little different because I think by start of season he's at 310 and starting at Guard. I just don't see him on the bench to start the season. There was an article put out yesterday where Jerry Jones was talking about the Atanta game where Clayborn sacked Dak 4 times he stated this pick was all about that game. Now does that sound as though their expecting him not to start ? Not happening hes much more talented than the free agents they've signed.

Brugler's Big Board - 38
Mike Mayock's Big Board - 40
PFF Big Board - 18
Lance Zeirlein Profile Grade - 1st/2nd round

This dude was an absolute steal.
Tell BAN-INCOMING-IN-3-2-1 that and CBSSports they act like we really reached. I don't think so honestly.

They say he is weak and soft. Not a good combo for an NFL offense lineman. That might work in college football, but those guys come and go quickly in the NFL.

Walterfootball sucks. Seriously they are terrible.

They really are, and not just because they're from Philly. They have a ton of content on their website so people think they're an authority in scouting, but it couldn't be farther from the truth.

Oh sure...Bud Light every six seconds...dilly dilly

Read it when you can but I also know Walter C. has never been a Cowboy fan. However he's on crack that Conner Williams in Round 2 is a D that is crazy grading. In that spot mid 2nd Round a B- would be the lowest
Yea, he seems like an Eagles fan because every thing they do makes him explode with ecstasy.
