Conner is a 6'4" 255 lb DE. You know he'll be converted to an OLB with the Cowboys. So he either plays behind Ware and Spencer, or he becomes another Bobby Carpenter??? Please correct me if I'm missing something here.

dude is a former TE, he could play any 4 LB positions in a 3-4

I'd pass on him. This is his first year on defense so he is very raw. Plus, I don't see his ceiling being that high. And I definately don't think he can play ILB.

I look at him like Junior Seau, a pass-rushing DE in college, athletic playmaker at ILB in the 3-4

dude is certainly athletic enough playing TE, basketball and making the switch, and not only that, but excelling at his new position in one-year's time, more like in one spring, summer practice time

Someone mentioned Junior Seau but he kind of reminds me of 2 other Patriot linebackers...

Mike Vrabel and Ted Bruschi.

Like Vrabel, Barwin seems like a do-it-all tough guy. The reason I mentioned Bruschi is because in college he was an under-sized (but effective) Defensive Tackle and made the transition to ILB in the NFL.

I would not be mad at all if we drafted Barwin. Consider me sold.
