Has been in a pro style offense and produced with limited weapons. He can be groomed into being a leader (Romo wasnt a leader at first). More talented Kirk Cousins. Why not draft him at 34?

If it were me, because I drafted either Wentz or Goff at #4.

Based on what I have heard, there are questions about his attitude/personality/leadership/whatever. I do not know if there is any truth to those rumors or not but if there is, I am avoiding him.

Also, based on what i am reading online some folks are speculating that he may not make it to #34.

Honestly i don't get why hes even projected to go 2nd round. average arm strength, very inaccurate at times, and has personality concerns? I'll pass. He does have good size, mobility, and comes from a pro style offense so maybe teams think they can work with him. I just see a career backup/ journeyman QB.

Umm you do know he was better in college than Cousins right?

Cousins completed over 64% of his passes at Michigan State.... Connor Cook, 57.5%.... I do, however, believe the Cook is being given a bad rap for
some odd reason.

A lot of people were better than Cousins coming out of college so i'm not sure what your point is? And tbh the numbers are pretty similar.
After his 14' season i liked Cook, but thought he didn't live up to expectation with his 15' season. For every good game he had it seems like he had a dud too.

Cousins having way better talent around him means nothing?

Are you implying there was nearly a 7% increase in drops during Cook's career?... that's a lot!... Most everyone thought of Cousins as a leader
coming into the draft... many were disappointed that Washington drafted him after drafting RG3... some said he'd be an NFL starter one day....
Hopefully, Cook can follow his path... but Cousins was better in college.

I've heard speculation today that he'll go ahead of Lynch now..

He will and he should. Lynch has never taken a 5 or 7 step drop. He's very raw and CC is anything but raw. Doubt he'll drop below Houston at 22. He won't be around at 34 IMO. Cousins has a better arm but Cook was the best 3rd down conversion QB of all time at MSU and we've had some great QB's over the years. He won 34 games, a Rose Bowl vs. Stanford and a Cotton Bowl vs. Baylor. He struggled down the stretch this year because he injured his shoulder midway throught the BIg Ten Season vs. Maryland. I think he'll be a solid pro....NOT spectacular, but solid. I also don't think the Cowboys F.O. has any interest in drafting him whatsoever. The point is moot really.

I've said Lynch was too raw for awhile but I admit that I am shocked that you hear he could be the 4th QB off the board.

This QB class will be so fun to follow once they are pros.

Ok I'm not going back and forth. I know what I see.

He may end up the guy if he is there at the 2nd pick. The second or third is when it appears Dallas will look for their QB to groom.

Like Cook a lot.

The stuff about leadership seems little more than gossip.

My only qualm is the completion %. It's been under 60 for three years.

I don't think he'll ever be a Tony Romo, but an Andy Dalton instead

The guy with the insider said the team has interest. I agree the guy would be the best backup Romo has had right out of the gate.
