Hello. How has Connor McGovern been performing? I heard Nate Newton mention him last night but I couldn't hear clearly. If you have watched him closely, I'd love to hear your assessment.

Never saw him. I think he is hurt. Newton mentioned him but he didn’t sound high on him the way he was talking up the others.

McGovern wasn't put on PUP, Byron and Noah Brown are the only ones currently eligible to stay on PUP for the early part of the season.

McGovern has been rehabbing a pec injury. But he was never put on PUP - it's too late now. You have to do that before camp starts.

I hear ya.

If it was torn though, he’d be out for the year, likely on IR, and probably would have already had surgery. That is a big deal when it tears.

he's been nicked up and not playing etc. He likely wont do that much this year and was drafted as a luxury really. He might be ready to roll by mid season.

yup, me too. He will be given time to get up to snuff mentally and physically...get some practices and reps under his belt.
