I don't know why we just tried to run out the clock when our offense was working? That was what killed us. We should have kept throwing those short passes even though we were behind. This was a coaching lost all the way. There was no reason to abandon what was working in order to run out the clock.

We had 5 sacks and they barely had over 100 yards through 3 quarters. Why did we stop blitzing? Frustrating.

He pulled the same stunt in the Pats playoff game 2 years ago when he was SD's DC.

At the end of the first half, DESPITE keeping Brady off-balance, he played prevent...allowing the Pats 2 minute offense to drive down and score with ease.

Everyone thought it was Marty Ball's call...I guess it's obvious now...

I don't blame the defensive players. I blame the coaching staff. We completely shut ****sburgh down for 3 plus quarters and then we went into the soft zone defense and let them right back into the game. We went conservative on both sides of the ball and that almost always results in a loss. Like many others, I'm completely through with every damn member of this coaching staff. The players were up for this game and gave it their all. Yet, the coaching staff let us all down again. Fire every damn one of them.

Conservatisim on O & Read's ST coverage in the 2nd half were the primary culprits for the loss.

I did not like the D taking the pressure off of Gentle Ben late in the game, but I do not blame that on the loss. And is it just me, or was Ware in coverage more in this game than any other game this year? Nuts.
