The "process" is finally being realized.

I love this. I'm glad Garrett is finally getting some credit. I've felt all along that this team was improving.

Garrett has received a lot of comparisons to Harbaugh and Carroll due to their quick, flashbang success. But look at those teams.

Yes, Seattle won a Super Bowl, but does anyone believe they are truly building a winning culture for the long term? I don't. They won a Super Bowl by betting on the referees not calling pass interference on every single play, which is shown through the focus on these such penalties this year. Put that together with a little luck and a fantastic running game, and there's your ring.

Harbaugh and his 49ers aren't the world beaters everyone wants to make them out to be. They let Austin Davis tear their defense a new one last night and could've easily lost that game. They have 4 former #1 WRs and yet, the Rams kept them in check fairly well. There are also rumblings of him being ousted at the end of the year barring a Super Bowl win.

That's the difference. Yall can have those flash in the pan coaches.

Give me the coach that's willing to take the media scrutiny to do things the right way. To build. Dare I say it: Its a process.

This Cowboys team is heading in the right direction and we've eeked out 8-8 seasons with relevant games being played in December during the rebuild.

This Cowboys team is going to be good for a while folks.

We're watching the formation of a team that isn't comparable to a sizzling piece of bacon, no. That's just a tease to our collective appetites.

This team is a big hunk of prime rib, slow roasting it's way to being a satisfying experience for a long time.

Being competitive because of Romo during the rebuild caused many to have too high of expectations for Garrett. He is showing those that mocked "the process" and the coach "in training" label that patience is sometimes rewarded. The foundation of this team is looking stronger every day and I hope JJ gives Garrett an extension before the season ends. I'm tired of getting a new coach every 4 years.

I'd like to see him here for a long time.

I'm not quite sure that I would say Davis tore the Niners defense a new one. After the slow start, the Niners absolutely shut him down & made him look like an undrafted free-agent! Let's not forget that Willis only played a portion of the game and Smith and Bowman have yet to see the field. I think the Niners will be our biggest obstacle to overcome in the playoffs. I'd much rather face ANYBODY instead of the Niners in the playoffs, if both teams make it.

Edit: I forgot that their best corner, Brock, is out, as well.

I understand all that. Do the Cowboys get a pass when their defense is injury ridden? Nope. I don't see the 49ers sustaining a successful 5+ years.

Their defense at full strength and our defense at full strength isn't even a conversation worth having. They are better in almost every aspect. I love the optimism in which I have as well, but that team is very dangerous when they are fully healthy.

Offensive edge: Cowboys
Defensive edge: Niners

While, I am not a Garrett fan. I will give credit, where credit is due. I am glad that he isn't calling plays anymore. The players like him and want to play for him..So, that is a huge plus. He hasn't lost this team. And, the past few seasons, that would of been easy to do.

Take that for what you like.

At least you are willing to man up that is big in my book.

I think this season is a good lesson for everybody in patience.

We are on the cusp of league wide dominance ( that's so fun to say!). Garret should get some credit because he played a huge part in building this team.

As much as Garrett deserved some of the blame before, he deserves some credit now. He wasn't totally to blame for the lack of success previously, and he's not totally responsible for the success we are enjoying now. It is what it is. A team and organizational effort.
