- The Saints purposely laid an egg. Resting for the playoffs, of which they already had a spot before this game. Save the players for the December run.

- Refs were ordered to give the game to Dallas. Increased ratings, right?

- Saints were told to let Dallas win in order to keep Garrett in Dallas. Keeping Garrett employed ensures they stay away from the big game at the end.

Feel free to add some more.

The first two make zero sense. The saints still need to win games to lock up home field advantage. Guaranteed they want the playoffs to go through New Orleans.

The refs boned us in our corn holes all night long and didn’t use KY.

They screwed the saints too. So clearly they were just incompetent.

The only other conspiracy I can think is.

Sean Payton use to be Garret’s coach in New York. They are close. So he threw the game to help his buddy keep his job.

Yea, Sean Payton would totally blow a game like this for the NFL/Goodell.

BFFs.

Should I have added the disclaimer that this a joke thread?

No I picked up on that. It’s a good thread. I like talking about conspiracies in general. But I also like to poke holes in them if I can. Lol

Lol. Yeah. You have a portion of our fan base that's always looking for negatives and they get extra testy when we win big games.... LOL

I doubt the saints did anything on purpose. They could have clinched a playoff spot by beating Dallas.

They just ran into a buzzsaw

Edit: yeah yeah it's a joke thread!

After watching Sean Payton's demeanor on the sideline and post game press conference, I was thinking "did they just drop this game", "did SP give it to JG and JJ, his buddies?"

But I kept remembering they are in a race with Rams for 1st place, and they need to have HFA throughout post season to get to the SB, esp knowing they play the panthers twice

The best I can p with is "complacency"

Brees yelled at the D for that Dak turnover.
So he threw that pick on purpose to let Dallas win.

How about that for a conspiracy.
