As I said earlier, you might need to reevaluate your expectations. Defenses seldom, if ever, play with a playoff-level intensity in the preseason. They aren't even playing with a regular season-level intensity yet.

I don't get all the craziness either. Outside of the one drive, what the hell did Houston do? Nothing. Some idiots on here act like the Cowboys were the ones who gave up 266 yards and couldn't stop a soul in the first half. Houston had 10 yards on 3 drives in the first quarter and had 128 (80 on the one drive) yards at the half. You can't really ask for much more from a defense.

I think it has too do with all the talk about how "great" these guys are going to be and all the talk from defensive players talking about how good they can be.

In reality they are playing as if they are average. This defense has so much talent on it it's not even funny. But yet they play as if they are average. This defense should be a Top 5 defense this year and so far they look like last year. We filled up the problems with the defense last year which was the secondary and yet they still look pedestrian. I guess people think that them playing average is ok.
