Who is the most attractive person you have ever seen up close and personal? It does not have to be someone famous.

Okay, I used to work in a sporting goods store in Park Mall here in Tucson while I was going to college. Across the mall hallway was a fancy women's dress shop named Judy's. There was a High School girl (yes, High School) named Jill who worked there that to this day may be the most stunning girl I have ever seen. She was only 16, but she was drop dead gorgeous.

I gave her a nickname that all of my friends from those days still call her. Mostly I think it's because they can't remember her real name, but we all remember the nickname.

We lamented the fact she was only 16 many times. We have reminisced about her beauty even more times.

One day, Chris, the Assistant Manager, called to ask how business was. It was a slow day and I spent most of it watching Jill. She was an eye magnet. Drawn to her and impossible to remove. I told him it was slow and that I had been "admiring the view." He understood that to mean Jill was working that night. I acknowledged she was and from that day forward her nickname was "The View."

BTW, I have no doubt that if my friends Chris, Marc, Andy, Ian, Jason, and Todd were members of this forum they would also nominate The View.

In comparison to someone famous that I have seen close up, Carmella Decasare (been 3 feet away from her), The View was prettier and it was not close.

I wish I had a picture. I am thankful for the memories. I curse the fact she was 16.

When I lived in LA, I went to one of those places where you could see celebrities as they came in for the "Golden Globes" back in the late 90s and saw Michelle Pfieffer rather closely. Another beauty in person.

I swear to you, Jason (he was 23 or 24 at the time), was going to ask her out even though she was 16. I thought Chris was going to kill him for even thinking about it. We all kind of treated her like a little sister, but there was no denying she also made us wish we were 17 to 18.

We had customers stop dead in their tracks if they saw her. True story.

I looked up and there she was and I froze in what could only be described as shock. After a couple of seconds a violent shiver ran up my back and I dropped my phone. She looked at me and I felt like I had just been sucked into a blackhole. I almost broke into a complete panic. I reach down grabbed my phone and walked away.

There was a group of us who used to hangout quite a bit back in the day, mixed genders. Maybe you boys and girls know that I play guitar that just totally sucks!

Anyway, years back, my sister and two of her friends invited my to go to a club called the Hogs Breath.

We got there and sat down and this blond girl came over to get our order!! Now, I'm not attracted to blonds much...but this one was a total knockout, and friendly as hell! Gorgeous!!

I drank one beer...then when I was ready for another one...she came over and I made my move...I asked her if she had a boyfriend? Yes...she did! I smiled at her while my sister giggled at me for being a loser...

I drank my second beer, told my sister that I HAVE to go home...and she said "Why?' I told her I just need to go home...

I went home and wrote a song about here called "I Saw Her Standing"...and I still play that song to this day.




Maybe I will post the lyrics later...but she knocked my eyes out! Not sexually, but just a fine beautiful woman...
