I keep hearing a lot of talk about "continuity" and not wanting to keep changing defensive schemes from the Jones boys but it means nothing if your scheme is flawed and you are going to have 4 or 5 new defensive starters heading into next season.
The entire defense needs an overhaul and now is the time to do it. Even if you count on young players like Revel, Eze and Overshown stepping up they still have to find a LB, S, CB and DE at minimum this offseason.
Eberflus should know the North as well as anyone, yet he has given up an average of 37 ppg against them this season. The bend don't break style of defense is antiquated with today's rule and it would be foolish to build around it.
