Some folks, in order to justify "don't rock the boat" and run cover for ineptitude, have been bantering about and throwing out the word "continuity". I've seen this word rear its ugly head a little too much for my comfort level.
Continuity is a derivative from the word "continue". As in, "stay the course" and "don't make any drastic changes" and "everyone just RELAX".
***???????????? Yeah, I've been drinking a gallon of Vodka a day, eating nothing buy Twinkies and cheese-fries, smoking 5 packs of smokes a day, and look like the walking dead!! Buy HEY, CONTINUITY MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yeah, that's the ticket alright. Just stay on this course.
The definition of insanity is "keep doing the same thing over and over again, and expect things to change". Continuity only works if you see improvement and progress. Check the results from the last two seasons under this regime. It's gotten worse. Not that what happened last year was acceptable, but at least we had home-field advantage (and of course too the term "home field" and wiped our butts with it).

So, take your "continuity" and go sell it to someone in New Orleans or Tampa.
We need changes. Changes that start at the top...........
