yes on Romo, TO, and RW the SS

no on the others, though.

:(

Roy11 - I'm cool with
Roy38 - Honestly, our run D took a bit of a hit without him
Flo - Maybe just one of those years for him? He's been very good over the years with us
TO - Yep
Hamlin - See Flo...dunno what happened to him this year
Romo - Jury's still out

How you cannot think the Hamlin contract was a mistake is beyond me. We are going to regret showing Columbo the cheese also......

I agree with Flozell, Hamlin, T.O., and RW 38, but RW 11 has not had enough time to be judged properly because the system we run is based on the receiver being in the right place at the right time ie. (timing based). As for Romo, I think he is taking too much blame for this as the offensive line play has been HORRIBLE!!!!

There was a contest today to see which lineman could look the most like Rob Petitti... I think Flozell took it.

I agree. Simply not tough enough to be a feature back.

WHAT???

I'll pretend you didn't say that.

I couldn't agree more. This team has no discipline because the owner has none. He couldn't wait until this team proved something before signing a lot of so-so playeers to big contracts. TNew is too old for what he got. Barber is no Michael Turner. Flozell is being paid because BP couldn't find his replacement in the draft. Romo hasn't won a thing; not one PO game and he gets what? $67 million? Is Gurode worth his paycheck?

I'm wondering why Houck has not gotten more out of this line? Same for Campo. Larry Brown says they are outstanding coaches, but what have they got to show for it? We never seem to have a DB in the same frame as the WRs in most of these games. And Romo is too small to take the hits that Garrett's "timing" offense requires. It has put Aikman out of the game and seemingly Kurt Warner, although he's hanging on by a thread.

I just don;t see any way for this debacle to end as long as jerry is running the team...

Barber is much bigger contract issue than Romo. Not because of toughness. QBs are extremely difficult to find and last a long time. RBs last 5-7 years and can be found. Choice demonstrates that. Barber is a #2 back -- good for 15 carries a game--and a great close in the 4th quarter. But he wasn't worth the 'top 5' contract he got.

The debacle won't end as long as Jerry is running the team, unless maybe he gets Obama to come in and coach. :lmao2:

After watching this season, how about everyone on the team but Witten, Ware, Ratliff, and maybe Newman and our rookie class.

I did say it, but I might feel differently once the frustration of this loss and the entire 2008 season leaves my system. I'm just at my limit with this team right now, as a lot of us are.

I've dislocated a pinky toe before, and still managed to play competitive sports. I've seen other players tough out similar injuries, or even worse injuries.

I just don't get it. It's a pinky toe and it can't be that bad if he tried to come out and play almost every single week since the injury.

I wanted us to get Turner the last two years. We could have gotten him a lot cheaper than RW11 or MB3.

One that is costing Jerry dearly, but luckily does not count against the cap is that 3 million he gave Jason Garrett.

Agreed. And, unfortunately, Barber's contract seems to have changed how we view we have to use him.

all robbed Jerry blind...should be a crime

ESPECIALLY Flozell...as much as we pay him, you guys can't tell me there are better lineman out there than him, with less penalties every year.
