Ok, so this is a question that has perplexed me and i dont know if it has been addressed on here already if it has, i apologize. Now, do you guys see Dez as the kind of player, that would leave based on his use in the offense? I mean if we turn into a run first team would dez still want to stay? Does his desire to win overpower his desire to the be the featured person on offense? It poses an interesting question to me, i personally think he cares more about the W then anything else, but ive been proven wrong before. Thoughts?

No, but if we low ball him, and keep playing around, he will leave. I wouldn't blame him either

I think Dez wants to win and despite the fact we ran vs Tenn he still got 100 yard recv. and a TD. Heck he went to OSU who runs quite a bit as well.

The running game success, can also benefit Dez. He may see more single coverage if they put 8 men in the box to stop Murray.

We won't lowball him but should we not reach an agreement with Dez he would get the franchise tag. Jerry isn't letting him go and Dez has said he wants to retire a Cowboy. One way or another Dez will get a new deal. Book it.

Anybody else worried that Dez, increasingly, seems to be taking a physical beating in games and it is affecting him?

Combine the fact that he is such a big body WR and the fact that he is so strong, doesn't easily go down, and therefore typically more defenders get a a shot at hitting him and/or jumping on the pile when he gets the ball worries me.

The hope is that he gets older he gets smarter about it.

It doesnt matter if they become a run first team, hes not really going to lose much work if any. The throws that are lost will be throws to the second and third recievers.
