I mean, it's a common strategy, if you have someone good enough to play the possession guy. You target him over and over and then that opens up the offense. I'm not saying he played great. I'm saying they were forced to account for him.

It's more of an Xs and Os thing, and an overall team strategy, whereas you're obviously thinking about it from a PFFish, individual statistics point of view.
he had 6 catches for 92 yards against the Cardinals. Did nothing for us. You're searching too hard for meaning

The thing is “possession” guys are called “possession” guys because they get possession of the ball. They have to actually catch the ball to be a “possession” guy
