It does. I primarily fullsuit at MFF, however, I did for FWA in May because it was rainy and the forecast had it as not too bad. I also fullsuited at TFF in 2022. Unfortunately, they keep putting it on Palm Sunday weekend, so I can't make that due to church obligations (same if they put it on Easter). If they'd stop putting the convention around Palm Sunday or Easter, I'd like to attend that convention again, especially since my suit has stars on it.
I never fullsuit at AnthroCon in Pittsburgh because that's in July. However, I know many people that do. Those that do usually have what's called a cooling vest where the vest basically has like a water pack in each side and on the back to keep them cool while doing that. So, that's how some have gotten around that problem.
However, for me, it's easy enough to partial when needed. My body type is similar enough to a small horse to where it works if I have to partial suit lol. But, in all seriousness, it's a lot of fun. I'm selective about when I put the head on because the visibility isn't great out of it. If you look at my suit head, you'll notice small black ovals in-between the brown ovals. That's my vision, and a portion of that view is blocked by my nose. So, for safety reasons, I'll walk around with it off if it's dark or if there's a lot of obstacles in the way. It does get hot, but it's fun because of what I'm doing in the suit.
I should say, as a PSA, if you see us furries out and about in suit, please note we do not have great visibility in our suits. So, just because you see us doesn't mean we see you. For me, along with a small hole through the mouth of my suit head being my main air supply when in suit, if there's sufficient light, I get a decent view of you, but again, half my vision is blocked by my nose. If it's dark, I have next to no visibility. So, even if you're in front of me and I have my suit head on, I literally can't see you unless you're just off to the side of one of the eyes of my suit.
