This band has been around for 20 years, done a lot of tours, but few seem to know about them.

These gals rocked, I think they are still around.

The thing about "cool bands" is that it is virtually impossible to find consensus, and that's a good thing.

What you think is cool, I think sucks, and vice versa. Music, like other art, is in the eye of the beholder.

This song cracked the top 40 in 2009, then the band disappeared.

Another "cool band", largely ignored by Americans because their vocals are in German. Life is not karaoke, so I appreciate the sound (better than country music).

Had a friend that went to Springfield High School back in the 60s. They once played at one of his high school dances. They called them "dances" back then even though a lot of them were concerts. Saw them at Springfield Civic Center in early 80s. One of the best concerts I've seen.
