If anyone is like me, in that you like to see then and now photos of historical people and places, then you'll probably like this website.

It's all about Easy Company, 506th PIR (Band of Brothers) during WWII.

Lot's of then and now photos! It's all in Spanish though, but the photo's are in English. :D

That's not really funny, they're actors. It's like saying that it's funny that Marie Antoinette was played by an American.

actually it says more about the dearth of good North American actors, particularly on the male side.

It doesn't matter what Marie Antoinette was. She pretty much called Benjamin Franklin a dirty little American, so she was beheaded for it. :p:

Dirty French ....and French Canadians ;)

Well we only had one of the five beaches so according to some that is not much of a sacrifice. We only liberated Holland, so that was nothing.

Holland is a pretty small country. Considering that Canada had - as I recall- only about 5 divisions in Europe- that would been about all they COULD liberate.
