This site is kind of cool....you can type in an address and find a ariel photo for that address (even though it seems most of the pics are older).

http://terraserver.homeadvisor.msn.com/default.aspx

Also a funny video on this site.

http://www.bobandtom.com

I listen to this radio show on the way to work every morning and it has some pretty good stuff...however what I wanted people to see for a little laugh is the video on the right that has a bull dog skate boarding.....the dog is actually skateboarding and not just being sat on a board and pushed.

Kind of ammusing.

my nephew showed me that terra site a few years ago, i've used it a lot.

that dog vid is a riot, cracks me up when he leans one way or the other to turn, then at the end when he hops off the board and puts his paw on it to stop it just before it hits the curb.

I wonder how many times the dog crashed before he learned how to stop before hitting the curb. That was fun.

Yes that was the wild part ...he was actually steering the thing.

I remember seeing that other site a year or so back but could not remember the address or name of it...for some reason I was thinking it was terra alta.

Either way it is pretty cool...I have copied a picture before and sent it to some friends telling them I have friends in the government and that they are watching them :p

I could actually see my old truck in the picture when I zoomed in. Can see the furniture around the pool. Pretty cool.

It was not a brazilian thong...it was a fig leaf.

That was back in the days when Hostile was convinced he was adam...amazing what the right medication will do for a person :p ;)

But I'm feeling much better now.

Mapquest used to be set up where you could view an aerial image of whatever locale you searched for in color. I think the company that provided the images went commercial with their data.

Here it is. You can still see color images, but they have a huge GLOBEXPLORER watermark throughout the image. Otherwise it's pretty neat.

That globexplorer is pretty cool. Got to see the car in the driveway of my neighbor who was cheating on her hubby - silver mercedes. Car belonged to the housebreaking dude, not the estranged wife - classic. Talk about being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Image was from 02/16/01 ... had he only known - ha ha.

It was the exact same image of my house as the terr advisor one was. The only difference was the logo wasn't there for terra advisor.

Anyone know the GPS coordinates for Area 51? You can load them into advanced search. Be interesting to see it from the air if the images are there. Such a mystery.
